1. Information We Collect

When you submit an order request or otherwise contact Yum Tums by Cyn, we may collect information you voluntarily provide, including your name, email address, telephone number, preferred contact method, requested pickup date or time, requested products and quantities, occasion or design information, allergy or ingredient concerns, and other order notes.

If you upload inspiration images, we also receive those image files and basic file information necessary to process them.

The website or server may also automatically process limited technical information reasonably necessary to operate, secure, and protect the website, such as IP address, request time, browser or device information made available through ordinary web requests, server logs, and information used for abuse, spam, or security prevention.

Please do not submit payment card numbers, bank information, Social Security numbers, passwords, medical records, identification documents, or other unnecessary sensitive information through the website.

2. How Information Is Collected

Personal information is collected primarily when you voluntarily submit an order request, upload an inspiration image, or communicate with Yum Tums by Cyn. Limited technical information may be generated automatically when your browser communicates with the website or when the server performs security, logging, or anti-spam functions.

3. Inspiration Images

Optional images submitted with an order request are used to understand requested themes, colors, styles, designs, or other custom details; communicate with you about the order; and, if an order is accepted, help create the requested goods.

The website may validate, process, or re-encode uploaded images for security and compatibility. Submitted images may be transmitted with the order request to Yum Tums by Cyn. Please do not upload images containing unnecessary personal, confidential, financial, medical, identification, or other sensitive information.

Submitted inspiration images are not sold and are not intentionally published as advertising or portfolio content merely because they were uploaded. Yum Tums by Cyn will obtain permission before intentionally publishing a customer's submitted inspiration image as marketing or portfolio content unless another lawful basis permits the use.

4. How We Use Information

Information may be used to review and respond to order requests, communicate about availability and custom details, provide pricing and pickup arrangements, fulfill and document orders, answer questions, maintain reasonable business and tax records, protect the website and business against abuse or fraud, troubleshoot technical problems, and comply with applicable legal obligations.

5. Order Form and Email Delivery

Order information may be transmitted over an encrypted HTTPS connection to the server and then delivered to Yum Tums by Cyn by email or another configured communication service. Email is not guaranteed to provide end-to-end encryption. Customers should therefore provide only information reasonably necessary for an order and should not submit sensitive financial or confidential information.

6. Disclosure and Service Providers

Yum Tums by Cyn does not sell or rent personal information and does not use personal information for targeted or cross-context behavioral advertising.

Information may be disclosed to service providers that perform functions reasonably necessary to host, secure, transmit, maintain, or support the website and order communications. Depending on the services in use, these may include hosting, network, domain, email, security, or similar technical providers.

Information may also be disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with law, legal process, court order, or a lawful governmental request; investigate fraud, abuse, or security incidents; enforce applicable terms; or protect the rights, safety, or property of customers, Yum Tums by Cyn, or others.

7. Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising

The basic Yum Tums by Cyn website does not require advertising cookies, targeted advertising technology, or behavioral tracking to submit an order request. Yum Tums by Cyn does not currently use the website to build profiles of visitors for advertising across unrelated websites.

If analytics, advertising, embedded social media, maps, CAPTCHA, payment services, or other third-party features that materially change these practices are added later, this Privacy Policy will be updated as appropriate.

8. California Do Not Track and Online Tracking Disclosures

Yum Tums by Cyn does not currently track visitors' personally identifiable online activities over time and across unrelated third-party websites for behavioral advertising purposes.

Because the website does not currently engage in that type of cross-site behavioral tracking, it does not alter its basic operation in response to browser Do Not Track signals. Where a legally recognized privacy preference signal applies to a practice subject to an opt-out right, Yum Tums by Cyn intends to honor applicable legal requirements.

Yum Tums by Cyn does not knowingly permit advertising networks or other third parties to collect personally identifiable information through this website for cross-site behavioral advertising. Ordinary technical service providers may process limited information as necessary to provide hosting, networking, security, email, or similar website functions.

9. California and Other State Privacy Rights

Yum Tums by Cyn is a small Ohio cottage food business and may not be subject to every comprehensive state consumer privacy law because many such laws apply only when specified business or data-processing thresholds are met. Nothing in this Policy is intended to limit a privacy right that applies to you under applicable law.

You may contact Yum Tums by Cyn to ask about personal information you have submitted, request correction of inaccurate information, or request deletion of information that is no longer reasonably necessary. A request may be denied or limited when information must reasonably be retained to complete an order, maintain required business or tax records, prevent fraud or abuse, establish or defend legal claims, or comply with another legal obligation.

Yum Tums by Cyn does not discriminate against customers for making a privacy request protected by applicable law.

Order, contact, and related information may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to communicate with customers, fulfill and document orders, maintain business and tax records, resolve disputes, prevent fraud or abuse, establish or defend legal claims, and satisfy applicable legal obligations.

Information that is no longer reasonably necessary should be deleted or securely disposed of when practical. Server and security logs may be retained for a reasonable period appropriate to troubleshooting, security, and abuse prevention.

11. Security

Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are used to protect information submitted through the website. Public website traffic containing submitted order information should be transmitted using HTTPS. Uploaded files may be validated or re-encoded as a security measure.

No website, server, email system, or Internet transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Customers should submit only information reasonably necessary to request and complete an order.

12. Children's Privacy

The website and ordering service are intended for customers capable of placing an order for themselves and are not directed to children under 13. Yum Tums by Cyn does not knowingly solicit personal information online from children under 13.

If Yum Tums by Cyn learns that personal information was submitted directly by a child under 13 without appropriate authorization, reasonable steps will be taken to delete it when required and practical.

13. Access, Correction, and Deletion Requests

Yum Tums by Cyn may take reasonable steps to verify that a request relates to the person whose information is involved before acting on it. 14. Ohio Cottage Food and Geographic Scope

Yum Tums by Cyn operates as a small Ohio cottage food business. Cottage food products offered through the business are offered for sale only within Ohio. The website may be accessible from other states or countries, but accessibility of the website does not constitute an offer to sell or deliver cottage food products outside Ohio.

Current ordering is intended for local pickup in or around Bryan, Ohio, at a location and time confirmed directly with the customer.

15. Changes to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated when website features, data practices, service providers, business practices, or applicable legal requirements change. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date on this page and, when appropriate, by providing additional notice on the website.
